DBA (Doctor of Business Administration): Research areas

Research papers

Research at Kingston Business School is disseminated by staff and research students:

  • in recognised journals;
  • at conferences; and
  • in the series of occasional, working and business papers published by the School.

Some of the more recent research papers are available for download:

The Kingston Business School series of papers is edited by Dr Jill Collis of the Department of Accounting and Finance who also arranges for papers to be refereed. Copies of all papers can be obtained by contacting Adam Cheesman

Research papers disseminated by the Small Business Research Centre can be obtained by contacting Val Thorne. These papers are placed in the public domain and are subject to the usual copyright restrictions.

Research seminars

The Faculty has a number of seminar and workshop series reflecting the high level of engagement with our staff, students and external stakeholders, ensuring that we are at the forefront of our field.

These are normally open to all but please check the pages for further details. They include:

  • Business School Seminar Series: a monthly series which provides an opportunity for experts in their field to present research findings.
  • Law School Research Seminars: a monthly series on contemporary legal issues which often attracts outside speakers.
