Ms Sian Loxston

About

I lecture in twentieth-century and contemporary writing, focusing on gender and sexuality. I am also in the final stages of writing a PhD thesis in English Literature at Kingston University.

I am interested in new materialist feminism and its intersections with trans, queer, and eco-criticism. My research focuses on a retrospective new materialist examination of British women's writing from the 1980s and 1990s, looking at the female sexual body and the materialisation of orgasms.

I am a member of the Race/Gender Matter research group.
