About

I am an image maker and educator, currently joint Course Leader for Foundation as well as Senior Lecturer and co Pathway Lead in Visual Communication. Our approach to teaching on Foundation encourages and allows students to develop their creative voice, embrace the value of collaboration and foster a thoughtful awareness to where their work will exist in the world.

With a background in Illustration I enjoy applying illustration thinking and processes to spatial and 3 dimensional outputs as well as on the page. I'm interested in futures of the discipline and the influence of narrative as a tool to communicate.

As also an academic co-ordinator for short courses at KSA I'm responsible for organising and delivering courses, workshops and programmes to the wider community with a focus for widening participation.
