What this course offers you

  • Mechanical engineering is the broadest engineering discipline at the University. It looks at the design and manufacture of a range of mechanical products and systems, giving you the flexibility to specialise later.
  • Our fully equipped labs mean you can put the theory into practice. Equipment includes:
    • computer-aided design tools; and
    • robotics, manufacturing and testing equipment.
  • Reducing concept to market time is an important factor in industry, so students with simulation skills are highly employable. We therefore give you exposure to computer-aided engineering.
