Penrhyn Faith and Spirituality Book Group

For discussion tonight (Monday 16 March 2020):

"Manon des Sources" ("Manon of the Springs") is a novel by Marcel Pagnol and is the sequel to Jean de Florette. (If you would like to know what happens in Jean de Florette but do not have the time to read both novels before March, do instead watch the film of Jean de Florette which is excellent.)

Manon des Sources itself should be easily found in most libraries or second-hand bookshops but it currently is not available through the University Library nor in a free accessible version online.

As usual, we will meet in the Quiet Room within the Faith Centre at the Penrhyn Road campus from 7-8.30pm (drinks and nibbles from 6.30pm).

All welcome. There is no need to reserve a place or have a ticket. All you need do is read the book and then come on the day itself.
