Holocaust Memorial Day Commemoration

On 2nd February, Kingston joins the nation in honouring the victims and survivors of genocides.

We invite you to a time of performance and contemplation on the 2020 theme Stand Together in the presence of The Worshipful the Mayor Councillor Margaret Thompson and with contributions from local groups and Kingston University. Our speaker will be Safet Vukalic, a Muslim survivor of the ethnic cleansing in Bosnia.

The Commemoration takes place at 2.30pm on Sunday 2nd February 2020 in the Council Chambers, Guildhall, High Street, Kingston-upon-Thames, KT1 1EU.

This joint event is organised by the Kingston Inter-Faith Forum, Kingston University's Performing Arts Community Engagement Team, the Royal Borough of Kingston and the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust.

Everyone is welcome to share in the commemoration and in the refreshments afterwards.
