Mr Peter Berg

About

I lecture in Project Management, Business, Maths and Engineering Science and Mechanics.

I have been lecturing at KU (on and off) since 2007. I am part-time (80%).

My background is in industry where I have worked in a diverse range of companies from defence to telecoms, from production through to construction.

  • Royal Ordnance (now part of BAE Systems)
  • Trafalgar House (bought by Kvaerner and more recently Skanska)
  • Ericsson (in Sweden)

My industrial roles have been in R&D, Project Management and Senior Management (including Company Managing Director of a large specialist contractor).

I acted as a consultant for a period of time, developing business models to investigate economic viability of projects/new business opportunities.

I have also taught Science and ICT in Secondary Schools up to A-Level so can combine teaching expertise with considerable industrial experience.

Married with 1 son, who is currently studying Medicine.

I used to do a lot of sport but now only ski, paddle-board and play/coach cricket.
