Update on government’s announcement on A-level results

Wednesday 19 August 2020

Following the government announcement about A-level and GCSE exam results earlier this month, we're delighted to be able to confirm we're accepting all students who now meet the terms of their original offer.

Students eager to secure a place at Kingston University can call our confirmation line on 0800 0483 334 or +44 20 8328 1149 to tell us their teacher assessed grades, predicted grades or the calculated grades they were given last Thursday. We will consider all these details when making our academic decisions.

We completely understand this is a difficult time for our applicants, their families and their supporters. All applicants holding an unconditional offer from us can rest assured their place is confirmed and we are very much looking forward to them becoming part of our Kingston University community. Any applicants holding conditional offers are urged to send us evidence of their grades as quickly as possible.

Some of our programmes, such as midwifery and mental health nursing, have a limited capacity due to caps on the number of external or clinical placements that can be offered to students. Our hotline operators are available to support anyone who might be impacted by this and talk through their options in more detail. We will also be actively working with our NHS partners to discuss ways placement opportunities can be offered more flexibly.

We're committed to doing everything we can to support applicants to find their perfect course place and have a team of friendly confirmation and Clearing hotline operators ready and waiting to take their calls. The fully-trained team is here to help and can answer questions about an array of subject areas as well as explaining more about what life at Kingston is like. Applicants are urged to act quickly to make the most of the opportunity to talk through their options and secure a place.

Our Clearing hotline is open all week from 9am to 5pm (BST) on 0800 0483 334, or +44 20 8328 1149 if applicants are calling from outside the UK. Calls are free from landlines and mobiles in the UK. International call costs may vary, so callers are reminded to check with their network provider.
