Where is the Faculty based? Most students are based at the University's Penrhyn Road campus, with our music and education courses taught at the Kingston Hill campus.
Staff teaching on this course
Dr Kay Pollock
Dr Kay Pollock has a PhD from Birkbeck College, for which she researched macroeconomic policy. Kay teaches macroeconomics, econometrics and mathematical economics. She also directs the Business and Economic Forecasting MSc.
Vince Daly
Vince Daly is a professor in the School of Economics and teaches the Macroeconomic Modelling and Forecasting module. Specialist subjects include computing for economics, applied econometrics and macroeconometrics. Research interests include applied econometrics and macroeconometrics.
Dr Elena Fitkov-Norris
Dr Elena Fitkov-Norris is a principal lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Law and teaches the Business Forecasting module. Specialist subjects and research interests include control theory, cellular wireless networks and system dynamics.
Nick Butler
Nick Butler is the head of the School of Economics and teaches the Computing module. Specialist subjects include applied statistics, econometrics, information management and IT, research design and methodology.
Dr Hong Li
Dr Hong Li lectured in China and Australia before coming to Kingston. She teaches corporate finance for the Economics MAs, plus econometrics and business forecasting methods for the Business and Economic Forecasting MSc.
Hong's current research output includes publications on economic growth and development, plus the linkages between financial markets in different countries.
Dr Jalal Siddiki
Dr Jalal Siddiki joined the teaching staff after completing his PhD at Kingston. His doctoral research topic was financial liberalisation and, with Paul Auerbach, he has written a survey of this topic in the Journal of Economic Surveys. Jalal teaches macroeconomics and econometrics.
