Here you can find more details about fees for this course, as well as any funding opportunities available to you for this course. Please note that fees relate to the academic year in question and will increase in future years.

For courses that can be studied part time, the part-time fees are for students entering year 1. The fees for students entering year 2 in the following year will remain the same. Fees may increase for students entering years 1 and 2 in future years.

Fees for 2015/16

  • 15-credit module: £765
  • 30-credit module: £1,375
  • 60-credit module: £2,550

Module fees for 2016/17

  • 15-credit module: £800
  • 30-credit module: £1,440
  • 60-credit module: £2,680

Home and European Union 2016/17

  • MA part time: £6,280

Overseas (not EU) 2016/17

  • MA part time: £13,080

Kingston University is pleased to offer a 10 per cent discount on full-time and part-time postgraduate degree course tuition fees (including PGCE courses) to our alumni.

Funding

There are a number of funding options available to postgraduates studying social work:

  • career development loan;
  • educational charities; and
  • grants.

Bursaries are available on higher specialist and advanced level programmes for social workers from the Surrey and Sussex bursary fund for social workers living and/or working in Surrey (County Council area only) and East and West Sussex and Brighton. Your employer may also offer to sponsor you through your course, providing funding, day-release or guaranteed study leave.
