Smoothing the transition from school to University
The 2026 Autism Welcome Day will take place at Penrhyn Road campus on Thursday 17 September from 10am-4pm.
Key elements of the day include:
- Support with Enrolment
- Support with applying for Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA)
- Wellbeing Workshop for Managing Mental Health
- Information for applicants, parents, carers and guardians about the support available from our Disability and Mental Health Service
- Library and Information Centre Tour
- Support Services Information Fair
Who should attend?
The event is aimed at autistic applicants and their families/ trusted next of kin. It is run by the Disability and Mental Health Service team to help you with your move to Kingston University.
