Stanley Picker Gallery, in collaboration with Kingston University and Kingston Council, is hosting a screening of The Peoples Emergency Briefing as part of the artist duo FRAUD's Stanley Picker Fellowship exhibition A Simultaneous Agreement. This is a new body of work that uses sculpture, performance and spatial research to examine the material and political entanglements of the UK’s water crisis. Join us on 12 June 2026 to take part in ‘Standing for the River’ a community performance taking place on the riverbank which contributes evidence towards an application to DEFRA to designate part of the Hogsmill River as a bathing site.
The Peoples Emergency Briefing screening will be held in the Stanley Picker Gallery on Saturday 20 June 3-5:30pm as part of the consultation period for the application to DEFRA and the London Climate Action Week 2026. Come and see The Peoples Emergency Briefing followed by a panel discussion with artists, ecologists and activists on actions to support care for our local river.
This event takes place at the Stanley Picker Gallery.
