About
I’m an illustrator and educator working across editorial, publishing, and animation. My practice is human-centred, exploring how visual communication can foster representation and inclusion. Before joining Kingston School of Art, I worked in animation for Cartoon Network and have spent over 18 years as an independent illustrator.
Within the BA Creative Industries courses, I teach on Level 4 and 5, addressing Design Theory, Professional Practice, and Digital Practice, leading the Level 4 module Creative Journeys. My teaching focuses on developing students’ creative confidence, critical thinking, and professional identity through a reflective, process-driven approach that bridges education and industry.
My academic practice is grounded in inclusive and evidence-based pedagogy. I design learning experiences that value multiple modes of engagement and foster connected, collaborative communities of practice. I’m particularly interested in how creative education can empower neurodiverse learners and support equitable outcomes through inclusive curriculum design.
