About
Dr Jinsha Zhao is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the Kingston Business School.
His research interests lie primarily in the fields of executive compensation, pension tax, financial derivatives, and cryptocurrencies. He currently works on a variety of topics including the implications of compensation regulations, the association between financial crises and Bitcoin. In 2022, he secured a grant from British Academy and Leverhulme Trust for project titled "Technology evolution and the pay gap between top managers and employees", worth £6,609.
He received his PhD in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University. He also holds an MSc in Finance from Lancaster University, and a BSc in Accounting and Finance from University of Bradford.
