About
My technical background spans a broad range of disciplines, including optoelectronics, analogue and digital electronics, microcontroller systems, hardware interfacing, and full-cycle software development. Over the course of my career, I have demonstrated versatility across virtually all programming paradigms—from low-level assembly and niche platforms such as Lingo and ActionScript, to widely adopted languages including MicroPython and Python. The latter has become particularly prominent in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
I have provided high-level consultancy to numerous organisations in both the United States and the United Kingdom, delivering customised software solutions and technical support tailored to each client's unique requirements. This has included the development of complex technical animations, one of which—a detailed simulation of a bioreactor used in blood vessel cultivation—received an award and was featured on the BBC.
Another significant achievement involved facilitating collaborative research between French Naval officers and Kingston University, where I led a project analysing the optical properties of novel liquid crystal compounds. This initiative resulted in the visiting officers receiving the highest honours from the Naval College in Brest, France.
This broad and interdisciplinary experience has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of both the technical and communication dimensions of complex engineering projects. My experience spans the complete development lifecycle, from initial systems design and implementation through to effective presentation of scientific concepts to diverse audiences, including public broadcast media. I have also appeared on the Disney Channel demonstrating the Van de Graaff generator, further showcasing my ability to communicate complex scientific principles in engaging and accessible ways.
