About
I am a Lecturer in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at Kingston University. My research focuses on AI for social good, with particular expertise in online harms, misinformation detection, and contextual bias in multimodal content.
In recent years, I have specialised in cross-platform harmful information detection, and I am now working on multimodal misinformation detection and contextual bias.
Alongside my academic work, I am passionate about climbing and drawing, inspiring a creative and mindful approach to my research and teaching.

My research interests focus on developing innovative deep transfer learning and fair machine learning algorithms to mitigate online harm, such as cyberbullying, disinformation, and misinformation. I am particularly passionate about creating unbiased and transparent AI solutions that enhance responsible decision-making in online social platforms. My work involves exploring robust techniques to detect and prevent harmful content while maintaining fairness, interpretability, and adaptability across diverse social media platforms.
