About
I teach Design Process, Professional and Digital Practice on Kingston University's Fashion BA (Hons) course, levels 4, 5, and 6.
I have a broad knowledge and skill-set within the fashion and textile industry. I started my career as a bespoke journeyman tailor and pattern cutter on London's Savile Row. I have a masters degree from the Royal College of Art. I've designed for renowned iconic designers, shown during international fashion weeks and have been stocked in the world's leading luxury fashion stores. I've designed across genders, categories and markets, and lead creative teams within boutique labels and premium global brands, living and working in six countries. Along the way I've spearheaded and led sustainability, digital and best practice within design, product and brand teams.
In 2018 I pivoted towards building an additional specialism in Digital Product Creation, with the mission to develop more responsible design and product creation processes; enabling the opportunity for playable, virtual go-to-market / point of sale assets and pure digital fashion experiences. Today I am a 'Phygital' fashion freelancer. I practice biophilic lead, responsible design and have a keen interest in gamified made-on/to-demand and XR technologies. I work primarily in Clo3D, creating digital twins and assets to build products and experiences for in, on and unreal life. Teaching and providing learning opportunities for "Thinking Through Making Across the Spectrum of Reality".
In 2021 I joined Kingston University as a part-time HPL; converting to a 0.6 FTE in the role of Lecturer in Digital Fashion Design in 2024. I am the winner of the 2025 VC Rising Star Award.
