About
Tommaso Di Filippo is a multidisciplinary designer, lecturer, and researcher whose work bridges creative technologies, technoethics, speculative design, and game design. Based in London, he teaches at Kingston University, where his modules explore the intersections of marketing, UX strategy, and emerging technologies within the creative industries.
His practice investigates how technological systems shape human experience and ethical frameworks, often using design fiction and immersive storytelling to examine the moral and emotional dimensions of AI, automation, and digital agency.
Beyond academia, Tommaso develops experimental video games and produces music, combining narrative systems, interaction design, and atmospheric world-building. His creative work is often inspired by his fascination with shipwrecks and maritime history; recurring metaphors for memory, loss, and the fragile relationship between humans and machines.
