About
Christina Roberts is a Research Fellow in the Faculty of Health, Science, Social Care and Education at Kingston University, where she co-leads the operational delivery of the NIHR-funded DAPPLE Project, a multi-site national study about developing effective service models for palliative and end-of-life care for adults with a learning disability. Her work focuses on health inequalities, mental health, learning disabilities, and inclusive research, driven by a strong commitment to improving the experiences of people who experience marginalisation or disadvantage.
Christina has experience working across both university and NHS research environments, and she specialises in co-production, participatory research and mixed-methods approaches. Her approach to research is shaped by a commitment to meaningful collaboration with people with lived experience, families, practitioners and national stakeholders. Alongside her academic work, she is a Samaritans listening volunteer and lived experience speaker, which brings depth, sensitivity and authenticity to her research practice.
