About
I am a multidisciplinary creative practitioner working across the fields of art, filmmaking, and creative direction, with a demonstrated history of contributing to the arts, media, communications, and education sectors.
Within Kingston University's BA Creative Industries, I lead on Art Direction and teach the Level 6 Art Direction and Final Major Project modules. My teaching focuses on developing students’ creative skills and confidence, while bridging the gap between practice and professionalism to prepare them for their creative lives and careers.
Originally from Australia, I have travelled extensively and worked across a range of industries and roles, culminating in a creative career and graduating with First-Class Honours in Fine Art from Middlesex University.
My practice is rooted in collaboration and community engagement, with a particular focus on how bodies inhabit space and carry narratives within landscapes. I have presented films, performances, and exhibitions across the UK and Europe at institutions including the BFI, Focal Point Gallery, Camden Arts Centre, Muzeum Kinematografii, and The Palace International Film Festival.
I am deeply committed to creative diversity and inclusive education, and actively advocate for equitable access and representation within the creative industries. From 2018 to 2021, I founded and hosted Greater than 11%, a podcast platform dedicated to amplifying the careers of underrepresented and marginalised creatives. This work led to recognition in Ad Age's 20 Women to Watch Europe 2020, the Women in Advertising and Communications Leadership (WACL) Future Leaders Award in 2019, and the Patricia Mann Award for outstanding leadership.
My academic career began in 2019, teaching on the BA Creative Producing programme at the University of Essex. I later joined Kingston University as a part-time lecturer on the BA Creative and Cultural Industries programme, while continuing to work in industry as a Creative Director for a London-based agency.
