Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education): Professor Trish Reid

Dr Trish Reid is the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education) at Kingston University.

About Professor Trish Reid

Trish Reid joined Kingston University in 2002 as a drama lecturer and has since been Head of Department, Acting Head of School, and Associate Dean (Learning and Teaching). In July 2018 she was appointed Interim Pro Vice-Chancellor for Learning and Teaching and will continue for the duration of the academic year while a permanent appointment is being sought.

In the early part of her career she was a musician and actor based in her home town of Glasgow, and subsequently a mature student who entered Higher Education late and liked it so much she decided to stay. She studied Drama and Theatre Arts at Goldsmiths and has a University of London PhD. She is passionate about learning and teaching and about making sure our students become successful graduates who are equipped to carve out interesting and productive careers.
