Dr Corin Depper


I am a Senior Lecturer in Film in the Department of Critical and Historical Studies as well as course leader for the MA in Film Studies. My teaching encompasses Film Theory, Avant-Garde and Experimental Film, Film Philosophy, as well as inter-disciplinary approaches to film, literature, and the visual arts. I have supervised numerous undergraduate and MA dissertations on a diverse range of film-related topics as well as five PhDs.

My research builds on the focus of my teaching, and I have published book chapters and articles on JG Ballard, Matthew Barney, and Jean-Luc Godard, and delivered papers on a diverse range of topics from Ezra Pound and David Jones to Cy Twombly and Aby Warburg.
