Dr Frances Grahl

About

I am a lecturer in Critical and Historical Studies at Kingston School of Art and in Cultural Studies at University of the Arts London. I completed my PhD, entitled "Mapping the Migrant City: Presentations of the Migrant Experience in the Contemporary European Novel", at SOAS, University of London in 2021. 

My research interests include European literatures of migration; literature of resistance; the politics of literary representation; the migrant and refugee experience in image and text; writing trauma; postcolonial visual arts. 

Academic Support Hours: Thursdays 4pm – 5pm, KP TP 504 (or online by arrangement).
