About
Since joining the university in 2005 I have taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and have been module leader of various financial accounting and reporting modules. I am a senior lecturer and teach financial accounting across all three levels of the BSc Accounting and Finance degree. I have won awards for Most Innovative Lecturer of the Year, as well as runner up for both Lecturer and Personal Tutor of the year.
My research interests lie in educational research and how learning and teaching takes place in the higher education environment, particularly within the effective domain. As a lecturer with ADHD, I am particularly interested in understanding how students and academics with similar non-visible disabilities, navigate the learning and teaching space.
