Kingston University Nursery

The Nursery is primarily for the children of Kingston University students and staff. We cater for children from the age of two until they start reception class.

Our aim is to ensure that each parent can concentrate fully on their working day, confident that their child is receiving the best possible care and education.

Our facilities

The Nursery occupies a large Victorian house with a well-designed outdoor play area. There are three large, fully-equipped rooms, which enable the children to develop to their full potential.

Our staff

Our qualified and experienced staff provide a high standard of childcare and education, with a ratio of 1:4 for two to three year olds and 1:8 for three to five year olds.

Staff plan a range of stimulating activities to engage the children’s interest and assist with each child’s individual development. We actively promote inclusion for all and equal opportunities and value each child’s unique needs and abilities. Our excellent relationships with parents allow us to promote parental involvement, which is hugely beneficial for the children.

Quality inspections

The Nursery is inspected by the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Servcies and Skills (Ofsted). Our recent Ofsted report reflects the high quality of the care and education we provide. Visit the Ofsted website to read the full report.
