New Stories is a showcase of the work of the 2015 graduates from the Sustainable Design MA course. This interdisciplinary course focuses on the value of design as a vehicle for addressing our most pressing social and ecological concerns. It takes designers into new territories, and asks them to design new stories.
Designers attempting to address the sustainability agenda need to create visions of how we might live and work better. Work presented here includes projects on perishable jewellery, urban desire lines, the real value of our public spaces, activating the core economy through coproduced services, and establishing a fibreshed for London.
