Dr Puzzo is Lecturer in Forensic Mental Health at the University of Reading.

His research focuses on understanding the complex interplay between emotional, neurocognitive, and social factors in the development of aggressive and antisocial behaviours across the lifespan. He explores how traits such as emotional dysregulation, irritability, and cognitive control influence these behaviours, and how they impact mental health, wellbeing, and quality of life. 

Using quantitative, self-report methods, his work examines both general and clinical populations, with a particular focus on risk assessment, developmental psychopathology, and social functioning.

The Psychology Colloquia 2026/27 series is organised by Dr Goffredina Spano from the Department of Psychology at Kingston University.

The annual programme offers ten research talks each academic year. The sessions features either a Kingston University researcher or an invited expert presenting current research, innovative findings and emerging ideas from areas including:

• Neuroscience
