Lecturer in Digital Marketing
About
I am a Lecturer in Digital Marketing at Kingston University, where I teach across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in digital marketing and social media marketing. Prior to joining Kingston in 2025, I taught Digital Marketing at the University of Portsmouth alongside completing my doctoral studies. My academic experience is complemented by a professional background in the corporate sector, with experience in strategic marketing and brand communication.
I hold a PhD in Marketing from the University of Portsmouth, where my research examined how organisations under-communicate their sustainability practices to consumers. I also hold an MSc in Business and Management from the University of Portsmouth and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
My research brings together digital marketing, sustainability communication and consumer behaviour, with particular interests in digital sustainability communication, brand transparency and consumer responses in online environments. My work has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Advertising Research and the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management.
