About
Dr Samar Gad joined Kingston University in 2022 and specialises in emerging market finance, with a research focus on dynamic portfolio optimisation and spillover risk in financial systems.
She has published in leading international finance journals and was named a finalist for the PQ Magazine Lecturer of the Year Award.
Dr Gad teaches Corporate Finance, Alternative Investments, and Venture Capital and Start-up Fundraising across undergraduate, MBA, and executive education programmes. She brings practical insights into financial modelling, enterprise valuation, and strategic planning to the classroom.
She also supports organisations through consultancy and executive education, providing feasibility studies, business case development, and training on the strategic application of artificial intelligence in finance and business.
As a recognised industry speaker, Dr Gad has presented at leading financial conferences and delivered talks for major banking institutions and professional bodies.
