About
I am a Senior Lecturer in Strategy and International Business at Kingston Business School, where my research and teaching explore how organisations govern emerging technologies, sustainability commitments, and international growth. My work spans AI governance, ESG and board diversity, and the strategic challenges facing multinational firms from emerging markets.
Alongside my research, I lead on curriculum design and programme governance, currently serving as MBA Online Programme Lead and as Kingston's liaison officer for its transnational education partnership with ESOFT. I previously directed the MSc International Business Management programme and led the delivery of Retail Leadership Degree Apprenticeship programme with LIDL.
My teaching spans international business, entrepreneurship, strategic management, and design thinking, delivered across undergraduate, postgraduate, MBA and PhD levels. I have taught international business, entrepreneurship, and strategic management to executives from Fortune 500 companies in an Executive MBA setting, as well as to MBA and PhD students, and have designed and delivered executive education for senior leaders, including Director- and VP-level participants. I hold a PhD in Strategic Management from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, and my research has been published in journals including the European Management Journal and Cross-Cultural & Strategic Management.
Before joining Kingston Business School, I worked as an Assistant Professor in the Strategy area at the Indian Institute of Management Ranchi, India. Before starting my career in management and academia, I gained a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology and worked as a project engineer with an international software firm. My primary research interest lies in the areas of international business, AI governance and responsible AI, sustainability, and related interconnected topics. I'd welcome hearing from prospective PhD candidates in these areas; please get in touch by email with a short proposal abstract and your CV. I'm also very open to hearing from companies interested in collaborating on research or consultancy-led research projects.
