About
My practice spans sculpture and installation, video, sound, drawing, writing, performance and photography. Through my work I explore possibilities of expression or resistance, and ways in which it is mediated. The installations I make refer to the disciplining aesthetics and demarcation of spaces found in churches, offices and industrial farming. Video, sound and written works use voices or characters that attempt to undermine or escape their own representation. My works deliberately use inherently faulty methods: metaphors, analogies, storytelling, categorisation and mapping.
I have exhibited most recently at St Chads Project Space (UK, 2024). I have shown commissioned work at Bold Tendencies (UK, 2021) and Britta Rettberg Galerie (Germany, 2021). My sound work has been broadcasted live on Cashmere Radio (Germany, 2023), The Institute of Sonology and The Hague (Netherlands, 2023). My writing is published through Art Reviews (Germany, 2021) and JOAN publishing (Internationally, 2024 and 2026).
I graduated from Royal Academy Schools (PGDip, 2019).
