About
I work as a Research Assistant on The DAPPLE Project: Developing effective service models for 'Adult palliative and end-of-life care for people with a Learning disability' (NIHR159160). I support my 3 colleagues who have an intellectual disability and contribute to the research as a Research Assistant.
Prior to this I worked a Research Assistant on The Victoria and Stuart Project, which was about co-designing a toolkit and resources for end-of-life care planning with people with learning disabilities within social care settings (NIHR202963)
My main research interests are in the fields of palliative care and learning disability within health and social care.
Alongside my role, I work at an organisation called Paradigm www.paradigm-uk.org as an Associate (working with organisations to support people with a learning disability to live good lives).
Prior to my research role, I have worked as an End of Life Doula and in the learning disability social care sector.
