Mr Diego Ferrari

I'm an artist and photographer with over 22 years' experience exhibiting in galleries and lecturing on my projects worldwide. My recent work takes a fine art approach to street photography in which I interrogate the relationship between social values and public spaces, with a particular interest in the relationship between the body and its environment, articulating modes of individual and collective experiences and social relations. I studied Fine Art in Barcelona, completed a Fine Art BA at Goldsmith's College University of London and was later awarded an MA in Art and Architecture at the University of Canterbury. In addition to my teaching at Kingston, I teach on the Masters course in Photography and Design at Elisava Barcelona School of Design and Engineering and also contribute lecture on the MA in Photography and Urban Cultures at Goldsmiths College, University of London. Since 2005 I have taught "Photography, Art and Architecture" at Central Saint Martins. I am Co-programmer on the annual Urban Encounters symposium at the Tate Britain as part of Urban Photo Fest in partnership with the Centre of Urban and Community Research (CUCR) at Goldsmiths College and at Kingston.
