The Department of Geography, Geology, and the Environment at Kingston University are hosting a half-day climate conference. The half-day conference is aimed at students considering geography and environment BSc degrees. The conference will focus on climate change mitigation and adaptation at local, regional, and national scales. Key invited speakers from Kew Gardens and Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames will give short lectures about climate impacts and adaptation strategies.

10:30 - 11:00: arrival and welcome drinks

12:00 - 13:00: Lunch

13:00 - 13:30: Lyndsey Fox (Department for Energy Security and Net Zero)

13:30 - 14:00: Stephanie Todd (Strategic Operational Lead for Sustainability, Kingston University)

Please note that students are welcome to attend the conference on their own without being accompanied by a teacher or chaperone. If that is the case, still register for the conference to allow us to estimate attendance on the day.
