Crown Castê: Live Show

Crown Castê is a podcast which focuses on financial literacy for SMEs. The speakers featured in the episodes talk about capital allocators (Business angel investors, Venture Capital, Family Offices, Private Equity), who they are, and why they had invested in a company or companies within their portfolio.

This will be the first live episode, which will bring together industry practitioners and academics to share their entrepreneurial journey with the Kingston University community.

This event is open to staff, students, business owners and managers. The event will share best practices with regards to fundraising.

Speakers

  • Mohammed Yesufu is an investment manager and head of financial advisory at London-based Woodhall Capital, a financial advisory firm that specialises in raising international funding for large corporates, financial institutions and sovereigns. The firm has raised over $2.5bn in the past 8 years. Prior to joining Woodhall, Mohammed was managing partner at Creed Trust Partners and a private equity associate at CBO Capital Partners.
  • Michella Botto Andrade is an Investment Associate at Exceptional Ventures an early-stage Venture Capital firm that invests in high-impact businesses focused on helping people live happier, healthier, and longer lives, while supporting a healthy planetary ecosystem. Michella is also a trained engineer and was formerly with L'Oreal.
  • Romualdo Scotto di Carlo is a professional with strong data analysis skills and several years of professional consulting experience. Romualdo is a trusted advisor and consulting supplier of Professional Services within Business Analysis, IT Project Management, Product Management, E-Commerce, financial and data analysis. He has the ability to act as a liaison between IT and Business
  • Shakeeb Niazi is active in the London Tech scene, through a decade of mentoring hundreds of Startups and training mentors in his Alchemy ‘active mentoring' methodology, involvement in Tech London Advocates and many Entrepreneurship and Mentoring events and initiatives. Shakeeb's support of entrepreneurs through programmes with Universities, Incubators and Accelerators takes early-stage Startups through to Scaleups, applying technological innovation and business skills to create positive Social Impact. Diversity & Inclusion is at the core of all his activities to ensure the widest-possible benefit across demographics, business models and sectors. As an "every person mentor", he is willing to give an hour of his time to any person that would like his help.
