Mr Paul Jenkins

I began my journey as a visualiser, using a pencil and pen as a Cartographic Draughtsman at AtoZ Maps, before discovering Photography and Art School.

I have worked as a freelance Commercial/Studio Photographer throughout my career, joining the British Museum and Library working within the Studio environment, and as Press Photographer. During this time, I was invited to teach Photography at a number of academic institutions on a short-term basis. I also added Theatre Photography to my portfolio.

I founded The London School of Photography and Fulham Film Studios Hire Ltd (Commercials, Music Videos, Post Production and Set Design) as a Director of both companies. Alongside my business commitments, I was developing as a photography problem-solver and adviser, undertaking numerous personal photography projects, and finally coming to Kingston School of Art, Design and Architecture. Shortly afterwards, I became a full-time Academic in Photography, working within the Kingston University Design Community.
