About
I am the course leader for Digital Media Technology courses, and previously for Computer Graphics Technology BSc and Creative Technology BSc. I have taught a range of modules from Fundamentals of Computer Imagery, Digital Motion Graphics, Digital Compositing, Visual Effects and Professional Practice at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I am also a member of EDI, Athena Swan and Safeguarding teams at KU.
Before entering full-time higher education, I worked in industry for more than 20 years, with technology and media-based companies such Silicon Graphics, Avid Technologies, Quantel as a consultant and trainer, and various media, TV and design-based companies such as Carlton Communications and Pearl and Dean.
My main interests and research include digital media, visual arts and technology-enhanced learning.
