Victoria Scott

About

I've been a journalist for more than two decades, working for a wide range of well-known outlets both as staff and as a freelance, including Al Jazeera, the BBC (World, News Channel and website) and The Telegraph.

I was Assistant Editor and Editor-at-Large for the ground-breaking Doha News in Qatar for six years, before its sale and closure following government censorship in 2017.

In 2019 I was appointed Lead Tutor for the NCTJ Journalism Diploma at Sutton College, London. I took up my post at Kingston in 2021.

When I'm not teaching, I write novels - my third, The Women Who Wouldn't Leave, was published by Head of Zeus in August 2023.
