Pharmacy
Our pharmacy course is fully accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council and is run jointly by Kingston University and St George's, University of London so you'll have access to the specialist facilities and staff expertise of St George's.

On our pharmaceutical science courses, you'll take part in innovative research, including new methods of drug delivery and drug synthesis.
Pharmaceutical science is a growth area with good job prospects including areas such as research, development and regulatory affairs.
Our courses
Pharmacology
Our pharmacology course has a focus on biological and physiological processes, rather than chemical ones. You will examine how drugs act on their targets in major organs and systems, and how the body reacts.
You'll study the treatment of infectious and non-infectious diseases, such as cancer, diabetes, asthma, and cardiovascular disease. You'll also have opportunities to learn about new drugs affecting the brain, treating epilepsy and depression, and how drugs influence addiction.
The pharmacology course is accredited by the Royal Society of Biology and meets the core curriculum requirements set out by the British Pharmacological Society (BPS), the professional association for pharmacologists.

Our chemistry course is accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). It will provide you with extensive practical skills in our newly refurbished state-of-the-art laboratories.
You'll have the opportunity to do a one-year work placement to gain valuable experience and help prepare you for a career in chemistry.
