Shaping future CPD support for schools in response to SEND reforms

We are exploring how Continuing Professional Development (CPD) support for schools could be strengthened in response to SEND reforms. As we develop our plans, we want to hear directly from school and education professionals about the challenges, opportunities and support needs within their settings.

This online listening event is an opportunity to share your experiences, discuss current CPD provision and help shape future support for schools.

• The professional development needs of teachers, including what support is currently working well and where gaps remain.
• The training and development needs of school leadership teams, including challenges and opportunities when planning and delivering CPD.
• How schools, education providers and partners can work together to co-create CPD resources and support, rather than relying on off-the-shelf solutions.
