About
I am an Associate Professor (Reader) of Creativity and Innovation, Director of the MSc/PGDip/PGCert AI for Business and Innovation, and Gen AI Innovation Lead at the Foresight, Creativity and Future of Work Hub at Kingston Business School.
My research explores the intersection of creativity, innovation and foresight and it has been published in FT50/World Elite and leading academic journals, including Organization Science, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, book chapters, special issue editorials and blind-peer reviewed international academic conference proceedings. Most recently, I examine how Gen AI transforms creativity, the creative process, and AI-augmented creativity skills at the individual and team levels. A distinctive strand of my current work focuses on the research-informed design of intelligence architectures for Gen AI Innovation and Knowledge Exchange systems that help leaders and organisations generate novel, future-focused and customer-relevant business value.
I contribute to the AI-business ecosystem in my role as Gen AI and Technology Ambassador on the Regional Board of the Institute of Directors UK. I am also the Founder and Chair of the Think Tank Women4AInnovationFutures, and the Founder and Director of the Gen AI Accelerator Circle of SMEs in partnership with the Royal Borough of Kingston-Upon-Thames and the Kingston Chamber of Commerce.
Before academia, I was an award-winning senior leader at Unilever, a FTSE 100 company, where I held country-level responsibility for portfolio P&L. For my achievements I have been awarded with the Fellowship of the Institute of Innovation and Knowledge Exchange, the UK professional body for innovators. I am a Senior Faculty member of the Doctoral and Scientific Committees of the International Product Development and Management Conference (IPDMC).
