About
I am an engaged scholar specialising in HR Analytics, The Role of HR in the Digital Age and the Future of Work. I lead HR Analytics and professional development modules for MSc Global HRM.
My research interests are:
- Using technology such as Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain in Reducing Modern Slavery.
- How AI and HR analytics can help organisations create equality, diversity, and inclusion business cases.
I have been part of UKRI research funding valued at £150 K. The research focused on SMEs' digital adoption and ethics.
Before joining Kingston Business School, I worked for Birkbeck, University of London (2012 to 2019), Brunel University (2019- 2021) and University of Bedfordshire (2021-2023). At the University of Bedfordshire, I led the MSc HRM programme and managed relationships with International academic partners. I represented the faculty at various reach forums and knowledge transfer initiatives.
I am a believer in industry and academic collaboration. Before moving to academia, I worked for the Discovery Channel as an HRM and post-production Manager and as an HR consultant for Mahindra-British Telecom, now Tech Mahindra. As a part of my public engagement, I have shared my views on diversity at the House of Lords, MATV and Bedford University Radio.
