About
Since qualifying I have had a passion for developing my career with a focus on education. My clinical background is primarily caring for children, young people and their families within the specialities of oncology and bone marrow transplant at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Additionally, I have worked at Evelina London Children's Hospital on a surgical/orthopaedic ward. At GOSH I completed the Chief Nurse Junior Fellows Programme from 2020-2021. As part of this I developed my leadership skills and quality improvement knowledge within my chosen area of focus which was education. With a desire to develop my leadership skills further and my special interest in education I then moved into the role as a Practice Facilitator for Undergraduate Students.
I joined Kingston University as a Lecturer in Children's Nursing in 2023. My current goal is to work towards my Masters degree.
