About
I lecture in Project Management, Business, Maths and Engineering Science and Mechanics.
I have been lecturing at Kingston University (on and off) since 2007. I work part-time (80%).
My background is in industry, where I have worked in a diverse range of companies from defence to telecoms, from production through to construction.
- Royal Ordnance (now part of BAE Systems)
- Trafalgar House (bought by Kvaerner and more recently Skanska)
- Ericsson (in Sweden)
My industrial roles have been in R&D, project management and senior management (including Company Managing Director of a large specialist contractor).
I acted as a consultant for a period of time, developing business models to investigate economic viability of projects/new business opportunities.
I have also taught Science and ICT in secondary schools up to A-Level so can combine teaching expertise with considerable industrial experience.
I am married with one son. I used to do a lot of sport but now only ski, paddleboard and play/coach cricket.
