About
Peter Millard is an internationally renowned Artist from the Malvern Hills. He has predominately worked within animation and had several of his playful short animated films and sculpture work shown at International film festivals and galleries around the world, picking up several awards including (OIAF Grand prix Non Narrative prize, LIAF Best British film, Vienna Shorts Quartier 21 winner, Insomnia Festival Equilibristics 1st Prize, Flatpack Festival WTF award, HAFF Moviezone award, LSFF little white lies prize and the RCA Daler Downey Drawing Prize and a number of special mentions). These have included several retrospectives of his work in Japan, South Korea, USA, Italy, Slovakia, Canada and the UK.
Peter has been running animation workshops and doing talks internationally at some of the world's most highly respected art institutions and conferences including Calarts, RISD, Tokyo Zokei, Parsons, Belas-Artes Ulisboa, RCA, NFTS, YCAM Yamaguchi, National Film Board of Canada, Pictoplasma, Nicer Tuesdays and All Flows.
He has worked part-time as a senior lecturer on the Illustration Animation BA course at Kingston School of Art since 2019 working within the 1st year running several introduction to animation workshops and Illustration Animation based projects.
He continues to work on his own art practice in South East London.

Peter Senior Lecturer working in Level 4 and Level 5 on the BA Illustration Animation Course and is a Module Leader for the Process Module - Materials and Methods and a Personal Tutor (level 4). He leads several introduction to animation workshops throughout level 4.
