About
I am a Professor at the School of Computer Science and Mathematics at Kingston University. I received my 5-year Greek Diploma (equivalent to MEng) from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece and my PhD from City University London.
My research interests are in the area of Computer Vision, Machine Learning and in particular Video and Motion Analysis. I have being working on various research problems that involve analysis of multi-dimensional time series, such as human motion analysis, learning scene semantic models, multiple camera motion tracking systems, medical video from Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound and event-series from neuromorphic vision sensors for robotic grasping.
I have been awarded many research grants as principal investigator and financially supported by national and international organisations. I am currently the Deputy Editor-in-Chief for Special Issues for the IET Image Processing Journal and a member of the Steering Committee of the IET Vision and Imaging Network.

Over the years, I have delivered a number of modules in UML and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning. I am currently the module leader for the postgraduate module on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (CI7520) and also contributing to undergraduate final year module on Programming III (CI6115).
