- Intersite bus – all University halls of residence are served by an intersite bus service, managed by Falcon Coaches. The service comprises a new fleet of fully electric buses and there is a flat fare of £1.10 per journey.
Please note: Clayhill does not have lift access or quieter rooms. There can be a variance in room size, even within a room category, due to configuration and block layouts.
Convenient access to campus
Reaching lectures and campus facilities is easy, with many students choosing to walk or use our intersite bus. Approximate travel times are:
- Penrhyn Road and Knights Park: 20 minutes on foot
- Kingston Hill: 55 minutes by intersite bus
- Roehampton Vale: 65 minutes by intersite bus
The best part of my halls experience was the connections I made during my stay there. It was easy to make friends and some of my favourite university memories are in halls.

At Clayhill, you'll have everything you need to make your room comfortable. Each room comes with a bed, desk, chair, double wardrobe (with a mirror inside), curtains, bookshelves and a notice board.
The kitchens are well-equipped with a fridge, freezer, electric oven and grill, shared by four students.
Other amenities include on-site laundry and bike storage, and all bills are included in your rent.
