We look forward to welcoming you to Kingston University!
There is plenty for you to see and explore at our undergraduate Open Day. On this page, you will find all the information you'll need to help you make the most of your day. We recommend you allow 3 to 4 hours to experience everything on offer.
- When: Saturday 3 October 2026, 9.30am–3pm
- Where: Nightingale Centre, Kingston Hill campus
- Registration: Doors open from 9:30am. You can register throughout the day, providing it is in advance of your subject session.
Top tip: We recommend you plan your day around your subject sessions. Take a look at the programme below to check the timetable and see what other activities you can do on the day.
Programme
Welcome talk
Find out about the Kingston experience through our lively welcome talk.
- When: 10am-10.20am or 12noon-12.20pm
- Where: Lawley Lecture Theatre, Kingston Hill campus
Accommodation tours
Visit the halls of residence to see where you could live when you study at Kingston University.
- When: Every 15 minutes between 9.30am–3pm (last tour departs at 2.30pm)
- Duration: approx. 30 minutes
- Departs from: Nightingale Centre Café
- Includes: Walkden and Chancellors halls of residence, Kingston Hill
Accommodation exhibition
You can also see our accommodation exhibition where you'll find all the information you need about our student accommodation. Friendly staff will be on hand throughout the day and will be happy to help out with any questions you have. You will find the exhibition in our Nightingale Centre Café.
Campus tours
Take a guided tour around campus to explore the facilities at Kingston Hill.
- When: Every 15 minutes between 9.30am–3pm (last tour departs 2.30pm)
- Duration: approx. 30 minutes
- Departs from: Nightingale Centre
Student services exhibition
The student services exhibition is where you can pick up information about the University's main student services. This will include accommodation, admissions, careers and employability, disability and mental health, counselling and wellbeing, student funding and more. The Kingston University Student Union will also be present to share about student life, activities, and how they support students beyond their studies.
You'll have the chance to speak to experienced staff at these stands and find out more about the University. It's a good idea to plan ahead and perhaps write down your questions in advance so you don't forget something important on the day.

Careers and Employability Zone
Drop into our Careers centre at any time during the day to enjoy a coffee and informal chat with our friendly Careers and Employability team.
Find out about the wide range of support available to Kingston students from day one, including career planning, skills development, work opportunities, and personalised guidance from our Student Career Coaches.
- When: 9.30am-3pm
- Where: Careers Centre, Ground floor, Kingston Business School
Subject sessions and subject zones
Subject sessions are an opportunity for you to learn more about your preferred course. If there are questions you didn't get a chance to ask, or something you want to know more about, you can go to your subject zone and speak with academics one-to-one, at a time to suit you and get involved with our interactive activities.
Subject zones
- When: 9.30am–3pm
- Where: For Kingston Business School, you can visit the subject zones in the Business School Atrium.
For the Faculty of Health, Science, Social Care and Education, you can visit the subject zones in the Frank Lampl Building, Ground Floor (School of Nursing) and First Floor (School of Education, Midwifery and Social Work).

If you can't see your subject of interest in the list below, your Open Day may be held on a different campus.
Please note: Check the time of your subject talk and plan the rest of your Open Day activities around that. If there is limited space, we will prioritise prospective students over accompanying guests; we appreciate your co-operation with this.

- Make sure you sure to plan your journey in advance and ensure you visit the right campus for your subject of interest.
- Plan your day around your subject talks and find out more about your course and speak to academics and current students in our subject zones.
- Explore the campus and the local area to get a feel for the University and its surroundings.
- Visit the accommodation exhibition to see where you could live.
- Prepare the questions you'd like to ask us.
- Please note that all our campuses are cashless. Our shops, cafes and food outlets can only accept payment by card.
