What to expect
Each day promises a supportive environment designed to push creative boundaries and develop artistic skills.
You'll be able to explore a variety of creative approaches through this engaging three-day structure:
Begin with a free-form experimental approach to still life. Work from a communal arrangement of objects, focusing on composition, mark-making and abstract techniques.
Build on Day 1’s techniques by exploring life drawing. Morning exercises emphasise rhythm and sensory connections, while the afternoon focuses on extended poses.
Inspired by Alexander Cozens' "ink blot" method, participants will blend observation and imagination to create landscapes. This final session encourages poetic and dreamlike expression.
