Course content and example course structure
Explore how materials and concepts come together to tell stories. You’ll work collaboratively to create narratives using text, images and unexpected materials. At the end of the day, you’ll transform the studio into an exhibition space to showcase your creations.
Discover the relationship between artists and the world around them. Gather visual and audio material from inside and outside, using techniques like drawing, sculpture and sound art. You’ll create imaginative geographies while exploring how art intersects with the politics of cities and landscapes.
Learn simple bookmaking techniques and combine them with costume and prop-making for a creative day of life drawing. We’ll also explore inventive ways to present your portfolio and finish with a Q&A session with our Foundation tutors.
